Influence of the oil refining and petrochemical industry on an environment

In the State reports on a condition of an environment of data on petrochemical branch «the oil refining branch» and «chemical and petrochemical branch», incorporated together get in sections. According to the State report for 2001, the oil refining branch occupied 6 place on emissions of polluting substances (679,2 thousand Ton/year), 8 place on dumps of polluting substances (158,7 million m3/year) and 11 place on formation of toxic waste products (1,05 million Ton/year). On a share of chemical and petrochemical branch it was necessary 437,4 thousand Ton/year of emissions in an atmosphere (9 place), 1183,5 million m3 / year of dumps of polluting substances in water objects (2 place) and 14,21 million Ton/year of toxic waste products (3 place).
On a share of such enterprises as Novokuibyshevsky, Novoufimsky, Omsk, Ryazan, Moscow, Kuibyshevsky ORP, "Uphaneftechem", "Kinef", "Slavneft- Yaroslavnefteorgsintez", "LUKoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka", "Angarskaya petrochemical company" is necessary up to 70 % of branch emissions. In oil refining branch the steady tendency to reduction of volumes of emissions of polluting substances in an atmosphere is kept. In 2001 the size of this parameter has decreased in comparison with 1995 in 1,3 times. Alongside with a low parameter of catching of harmful substances (less than 50 %) the branch has high enough degree of clearing of emissions from hydrocarbons (67,8 %). A basis of emissions liquid and gaseous substances, first of all, make flying organic connections (56 %), and also sulfur dioxide (18,4 %). During last years the parameter of economy of fresh water practically did not vary as a result of use of systems of the turnaround and repeatedly — consecutive water supply, making 94,96 %.
