Biography
Was born on April 3, 1967, in Moscow.
In 1995, he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in Law.
From 1998 to 2001, he headed the legal control division of the Federal Energy Commission of the Russian Federation.
In 2001–2004, he worked as the head of the Department for Restructuring of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
From 2004 to 2008, he worked at the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation. His last position there was the Director of the Electric Power Industry Department.
2008 to 2010, he was the Chief Executive Officer of RN-Energo.
From 2010 to 2012, he worked as CEO of United Energy Sales Company (OESK).
2012-2013 - Chairman of the Management Board of TSA and the Chairman of the Management Board of NP Market Council.
2013 – present, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
Vyacheslav Kravchenko is married, has two sons.
