He was born in 1953 in Ufa.
In 1976 v graduated from Ufa oil institute. In 1976-79 v worked as an engineer at several oil extracting enterprises of Bashneft association.
Since 1979 v has been working at different enterprises of oil extracting association Varieganneft.
In 1991 he was appointed head of oil and gas technological production department of Varieganneftegaz Co.
In 1992 he was appointed head of Bakhlovneft Co.
In 1995 he was appointed first deputy general director , and in 1997 v general director of JSC Varieganneftegaz.
Since September, 1997 he is general manager of the company.
