Born in 1946 in Adler. Graduated from the Bauman Moscow Military Technical University to be engineer-mechanic. Kandidate of Technical Sciences. Has about 40 printed works in the field of mechanics, resistance of materials, business ethics. Upon graduation from the Institute worked in project, scientific, teaching spheres. From 1989 to 1991 - first Secretary of Khanty-Mansy KPSU district committee. From 1991 to 1993 - Chairman of Khanty-Mansy district Soviet of public deputies, Deputy of RF Supreme Soviet. Since 1993 - is engaged in commercial activity connected with drawing investments into oil&gas branch. Was the Chairman of Board of Directors in Evikhon and NIPEC Cos. At present is the Chairman of Board of Directors in investment corporation Yugra, Yugraneft, West-Siberian Bank of Development and Cheque- investment fund Title. Married, has two children.
