The number of millionaire households in the UK will rise by 60 per cent within ten years, a study claimed yesterday.
More than 2.4million will have a seven figure fortune — worth a combined £6.9TRILLION.
And those worth £5million will rise by 120 per cent to 126,000, according to analysis by the Economic Intelligence Unit and Barclays Wealth.
America will retain top position in the global wealth index, defined by net worth of population.
Japan will be second, with Britain slipping behind China to fourth place — ahead of Germany, France, Italy, Canada and Spain.
