Russia's largest oil company, Rosneft, posted a 69.1 percent year-on-year increase in its January-June revenues to $16.44 billion to US GAAP, Rosneft said on Monday.
Revenues from exports to non-CIS countries jumped 70.7 percent to $15.549 billion, including exports to Europe and other states which grew 50 percent to $10.729 billion.
Exports to Asian states rose 146 percent to $4.82 billion. Rosneft's revenues from oil exports to the CIS increased 30.8 percent to $755 million. The company's domestic sales grew 300 percent year-on-year to $136 million.
The company's second quarter revenues from exports to non-CIS countries rose 2.4 percent to $7.868 billion year-on-year. Rosneft said the increase was due to an increase in average oil prices, worth $110 million. A slight increase in oil sales contributed one percent, or $77 million to revenues, Rosneft said.
Revenue growth from exports to non-CIS states was due to a 51.2 percent growth in prices, worth $5.268 billion, and to the company's growing sales, up by 12.9 percent or $1.171 billion. That growth was primarily provided by output from the Vankorskoye field in Eastern Siberia.
Second quarter revenues from oil exports to CIS states jumped 159.5 percent to $545 million compared to the first quarter. Rosneft attributed the growth in supplies to the start of sales to Ukraine and by a slight increase in oil supplies to Belarus.
