21 school students died in a bus-truck collision on the Athens-Thessaloniki national highway, central Greece.
The students were returning to Thessaloniki from a three-day trip to Athens when the oncoming truck lost control and crashed into the bus.
Additionally 31 others were injured.
Greek Prime Minister Costas Simitis expressed his sorrow over the accident and offered his condolences to the victims' families.
