Murder At DaimlerChrysler Factory

DaimlerChrysler worker was killed Tuesday morning at its glass factory that produces windshields and other glass materials for DaimlerChrysler vehicles.
The 57-year-old man was struck in the head by a piece of machinery that began moving while he was replacing a part on it, the state Department of Consumer & Industry Services said in a statement.
The murder is under investigation by the company's joint UAW/DaimlerChrysler Health and Safety Team.
An investigation by state safety inspectors might take several weeks to complete, the statement said.
