The company agreed to lay the 1st line of the pipeline in the Black Sea with Gazprom on December 8, 2016 when the company's CEO Alexey Miller had said that offshore construction would start in the 2nd half of 2017.

The 2 lines of the Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline project plan to become operational by the end of 2019.
