As Russian business newspaper Kommersant reported, the dollar rose on world markets October 6 in relations to other major world currencies. The euro cost $1.3784 the morning of October 6 and $1.35 at 3:00 p.m. Moscow time. That is the lowest exchange rate for the euro in 13 months.
As for the official exchange rate of the euro for October 7, it loses 33 kopecks in value, at 35.55 rubles. Thus the difference between the dollar and euro is less than 10 rubles.

The Dollar is above 26 Rubles
The Central Bank of Russia has set the official exchange rate of the dollar for October 7 at 26.1784 rubles, up almost 29 kopecks since the last rate was set and above 26 rubles for the first time this year.
