According to the document, LUKOIL will support Yamineh charity foundation, non-governmental organizations, cultural, environmental, educational initiatives and sports projects, promote ultralight aviation in various sectors of economy and for scientific and research purposes.
The company will establish a special LUKOIL class in a preparatory school in the city of Salekhard for industry-specific trainings and build a Sunday school in the town of Tarko-Saleh.
LUKOIL will also help the Yamal-Nenets Regional Culture and Business Center stage a musical performance featuring professional ethnical song and dance companies – Syra Sev and Syoyotay Yamal.
On December 20, 2019, Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL, and Dmitry Artyukhov, Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, signed a Cooperation Agreement for 2020-2024.
