Moscow, February 4 - Neftegaz.RU. Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL, and Aleksandr Brechalov, Head of the Udmurt Republic, held a working meeting today in the capital of Russia.
A number of new projects were discussed, among which were the construction of a refueling complex at the airport in the city of Izhevsk, establishing infrastructure for developing natural gas filling stations and those filling stations that are already operating.
Vagit Alekperov and Aleksandr Brechalov also addressed the implementation of social projects supported by LUKOIL in the Udmurt Republic.
The company won the bids for Chukavinsky and Chernushkinsky license areas in 2012-2013 and the bid for Bykovsky in 2017. The same year, the company started prospect drilling at Chukavinsky area as part of its exploration program. With a 3D seismic survey completed and interpreted, the company commenced prospecting at Chernushkinsky area in 2018
LUKOIL, operating in the Udmurt Republic since 2006, is involved in the production and geological exploration of oil (LUKOIL-Perm, TatRITEKneft, RITEK), and also in the marketing of oil products (LUKOIL-Permnefteprodukt). As of 2018, LUKOIL owned a network of 64 gas stations and a tank farm facility in the region.
