President and CEO of Russian-British merger TNK-BP Robert Dudley on Monday December 8, visited Moscow State Institute for International Relations.
There was held a round-table conference, attended by about ten people, junior and senior students, including 8 freshmen of the Institute.
Dudley talked about the company, particularly, he provided some details of a merger between BP and Russia?s oil and gas company TNK.
The problems of solar production, the one of BP?s business line, were discussed either. The envoy said that BP watches every new and interesting invention in the field, and will participate in any worthy project.
Also they considered the possibility of exchange student programs and internship.
The BP?s envoy talked about the company?s policy, emphasizing that it prioritizes the environmental protection and health of its workers. For instance, the company doesn?t have any operations n Iraq, because it constitutes a real menace to company?s staff.
However, BP actively develops its work and operations all over the world, including China and Latin America.
BP?s envoy, though, turned off the question of one freshman on his attitude to the problems of Russia?s beleaguered oil company Yukos in respect of the British giant.
