Gazprom Neft signs a social & economic cooperation agreement with Yugra for 2019–2021

Gazprom Neft signs a social & economic cooperation agreement with Yugra for 2019–2021

Yugra, April 24 - Neftegaz.RU.
Gazprom Neft has signed a further social & economic cooperation agreement, the document being signed by Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov and Natalya Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

The document determines financing levels for social projects throughout 2019–2021, together with a list of specific initiatives and social investments in 2019.

Gazprom Neft will be allocating resources to improving several rural settlements throughout this year, as well as the construction of a further 120-room apartment building in Khanty-Mansiysk, and an indoor hockey pitch in the urban settlement of Novoagansk.

Gazprom Neft will be allocating funds to the World Chess Olympiad, taking place in Khanty-Mansiysk in 2020. The company has also been the General Sponsor of the “Spirit of Fire” International Debut Cinematography Festival.

Alexander Dyukov, CEO of Gazprom Neft, commented: “The Khanty-Mansi AO has, for several years, been one of Gazprom Neft’s most important oil production areas. Yugra is now becoming a key element in the company’s systemic technological development. It was here that the 1st Production Control Centre — based around digital-twin technology — was established. The Bazhenov Technology Centre went into operation in the Khanty-Mansi AO in 2018, becoming operator on a national project investigating the Bazhen Formation, the development of which reserves is of strategic significance to the entire oil industry. While developing major production projects we are always committed to also making a significant contribution to the social environment in those regions in which we operate.”
