The verdict in the trial of Russian tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky has been postponed until 16 May by the court.
The court had been expected to give the verdict on Wednesday. The printed notice, posted inside the glass door of the courthouse informed that the judgment was delayed.
Later the court officials explained that judge Irina Kolesnikova had no time to finish writing verdict by the date fixed.
Khodorkovsky, who is accused of multiple charges of fraud and tax evasion, is likely to face up to 10 years in jail if found guilty.
