INTER RAO UES starts devising framework to transit electric power and energy from Kaliningrad oblast power plants into Western European energy systems

INTER RAO UES completed its open tender and appointed TECHNOPROEKT as its technical advisor to design a feasibility study for an investment project to build grid-level export infrastructure supporting delivery of electricity from Kaliningrad Oblast to Western European energy systems.

INTER RAO UES completed its open tender and appointed TECHNOPROEKT as its technical advisor to design a feasibility study for an investment project to build grid-level export infrastructure supporting delivery of electricity from Kaliningrad Oblast to Western European energy systems.
In this project, TECHNOPROEKT will cooperate with the leading European and Scandinavian companies with proven track record in high-voltage direct current electric power transmission lines.
The purpose of export infrastructure feasibility study is to identify new opportunities for electricity export from Kaliningrad Oblast and to sign long-term electricity supply contracts.
