Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, is expected to arrive in Russia on a two-day official visit on March 30, the Russian government announced yesterday.
Sheikh Mohammed, who is also the emir of Dubai, was invited by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
The official government statement outlined the agenda of forthcoming meeting.
Russian and Saudi counterparts are going to discuss cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres, especially expanding the involvement of Russian companies in developing large projects in the U.A.E., including in the oil and gas sectors and energy, as well as developing trade turnover between the countries.
Other issues to be discussed will include U.A.E. investment in the Russian economy, including the creation of tourist and recreational zones.
