Iran crude oil exports unmoved by US threats

Teheran, July 13 - Neftegaz.RU. Iran's crude oil exports have not witnessed any major drops following US President Donald Trump's repeated threats to challenge the country's main source of income.

In June 2018, Iran exported over 2.61 million barrels of crude oil and gas condensate of which 2.28 mbd was crude oil and 330,000 b/d was ultra light crude, which is also called gas condensate.

Throughout the Iranian calendar year of 1396 (ended March 20), the country exported an average of 2.115 mbd of crude oil at $66b/d.

Earlier this week, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh told that the country's crude oil exports had not changed dramatically as a result of Donald Trump's threats to bring Iran's oil exports to zero.

Iranian Shana reported that some media outlets, misquoting the latest statistics of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), said Iran’s oil exports would likely drop by 500,000 barrels per day with the restart of new U.S. sanctions.
