Teheran, November 1 - Neftegaz.RU. Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh refuted suggestions about Russia’s involvement in Iran’s oil exports.
Speaking to reporters following a cabinet meeting on October 31th, the official said: «I deny these allegations that have been published by Reuters and some other media outlets.»
Asked about upcoming US sanctions on Iran’s oil exports, the official said: «I will not speak a word the issue of sanctions and oil sales.» Mr. Zangeneh also said that petrochemical companies were supplies hard currency to the market, saying: «They are cooperating and there is no problem in that regard.»
Alexander Novak and Zanganeh discussed on October 15th cooperation between the 2 countries in fuel and other energy sectors. Novak underlined that constant contacts between Russia and Iran contribute to strengthening their bilateral cooperation in the whole range of trade and economic relations, including the energy sector.
