Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller signed for and on behalf of the gas producer, and Rosatom chief Sergei Kiriyenko for and on behalf of the state corporation.
According to RBC, under the agreement, the companies will develop joint cooperation in implementing strategic offshore field exploration projects, including the Shtokman oil and gas condensate field, as well as deposits on the Yamal Peninsula and in the Far East.
Furthermore, the companies will cooperate in facilitating power supplies for gas transmission networks that supply gas to Russian regions, Western Europe, and Southeast Asia.
They will also interact in coordinating interrelated investment projects, creating new technologies, and developing competitive products to enhance the efficiency of gas and gas condensate exploration, production, transportation, storage, and processing.
