According to a statement published by the agency, Kazakhstan exported just shy of 60.709m tonnes of oil and gas condensate in 2008, 0.1 percent less than a year earlier. In terms of value, oil and gas condensate exports amounted to $43.508bn, a 54.7-percent rise from 2007.
In 2008, the republic produced 58.714m tonnes of crude oil and 12.024m tonnes of gas condensate.
