Rospan International, a TNK-BP subsidiary, produced about 31,400 tons of crude in the first half of 2010 at the Russkoye field in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district, Rospan CEO Rustem Bakirov said, adding that investment in the field totalled almost 1.5 billion rubles in the same period. Most of the investment was channelled to construction and industrial drilling. Since the beginning of the year, over 47 kilometers of access roads on have been built and five bridges are nearly 90 percent complete.
At cluster number 3, the Mera measurements post, a chemicals dosing block have been built along with nearly 5,000 meters of an oil pipeline system. In the second half of the year, three wells at cluster number 4 and another three at cluster 5 are to be built.
