Norilsk Nickel Will Reach New Level

Russian metal giant Norilsk Nickel plans to sell the total volume of palladium, which will be produced in 2004, according to Anton Berlin, the head of the company?s market analysis and development department.
Norilsk Nickel tries to achieve the same level of palladium sales in Asia, the USA and Europe. Norilsk Nickel Europe, Norilsk Nickel Asia and Norilsk Nickel USA sell the precious metal produced by Russian industrial giant.
Mr Berlin also said that Norilsk Nickel and Stillwater Company have decided not to sign an agreement on palladium supplies.
According to this contract, Russian company was to supply not less than 1 mln oz to Stillwater annually. Perhaps, in the future the agreement will be reconsidered.
