Gold changed a little in London, after Friday?s steep drop in a week as the dollar rose against the euro.
Spot gold was little changed at $422.50 per ounce at the London morning fix with support seen at $420 per ounce.
Gold for immediate delivery in London fell 26 cents, or 0.1 percent, to $422.89 an ounce as of 8:51 a.m. It dropped 0.5 percent Friday, the most since Jan. 7.
The dollar was trading at $1.3117 per euro, down from $1.3112 late Friday, according to EBS, an electronic currency dealing system. Yesterday, the U.S. currency closed 0.9 percent higher.
