Two Siberian gold deposits were sold on an auction on January 25 in Irkutsk region. The first deposit located near the Ugakhan River was bought by Retkon company for 230 thousand roubles Experts estimate the deposit resources at about 800 kg.
The second deposit called Mukodek with estimated resources of 18 tons of gold was sold to Lena Gold Company for 5.75 mln roubles. Lena Gold Company is the subsidiary of Polyus gold producer, which, in its turn, is the production unit of the country's metals giant Norilsk Nickel.
