A platinum deposit, located in Sverdlovsk region of Russia, was put up for tenders on the auction in on Feb. 3, 2005.
The company named Irion won the auction and bought the deposit for 642 600 roubles ($22 950). Now the company got the right to develop the deposit, its resources being estimated at 400 kg of platinum, for 25 years.
