Gold Extended Its Loss — Near To $ Week Lowest Level

Gold futures continued to drop on fund liquidation and came near to four-month lows of $414 per ounce as the U.S. dollar recovered further.

The most-active April contract settled 50 cents lower at $415.40 per ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange?s Comex division.

April gold started out with a slight positive bias after the U.S. currency
pulled back from overnight highs ahead of the New York open.
