Yakutian Mining Industry

Mining industry of Yakutia, Russia, has considered the results of its work in 2004, which proved to be better than of 2003.

Diamonds mining in 2004 amounted to $2 215 mln that is by 29% more than in 2003, including 76% of the diamonds mined by ALROSA Company.

Gold mining in the Republic reached the planned figures and totalled to 20.4 tons.
