U.S. gold tumbled sharp on Thursday, finishing with the lowest close in two months after the dollar revived, sparking heavy fund liquidation across the metals complex.
June delivery gold fell $5.40 to end at $425.60 an ounce, after trading from $431.30 to $423.50. on the New York Mercantile Exchange's Comex division. It is the weakest close since Feb. 11.
