New York gold futures surged more that $8, hitting a two-week high Thursday on the back of a weak dollar.
"Gold had another unbelievably strong performance today," traders said.
The benchmark December contract jumped $8.40 at $446.50 an ounce after reaching on the Comex division of the New York
Mercantile Exchange.
