Gold Jumped $5.60 On The Lack

The precious metals complex continued to draw fund buying on Monday, as gold,
silver and palladium all posted gains.

February gold settled up $5.60 to $512.60 an ounce on the COMEX.

"It seems that lease rates for gold are pretty cheap," said George Gero, vice
president with RBC Capital Markets Global Futures.
