Gold On 25yr High Again

Gold price reached 25year high in late trade in London on Tuesday on a weaker dollar and concern over Iran's nuclear programme, the gold price surged to $665 an ounce, its best level since October 1980.

Economists said that gold was also boosted by its safe haven status.

Gold has been regarded as a good store of value as high crude oil prices raise fears about inflation.
