9 candles were lit at a service yesterday to mark the nine lives lost in the Stockline plastic factory tragedy.

First Minister Jack McConnell was among around 1200 mourners at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall for the ecumenical event, led by Roman Catholic Archbishop Mario Conti.

Nine factory workers died when an explosion destroyed their Glasgow workplace on May 11.
