Gazprom Forced To Cut Gas Supplies to Europe

Russian gas giant Gazprom has cut gas supplies to Hungary and Bosnia-Herzegovina because of a very cold weather in Russia to deliver more gas to domestic users.

Gazprom said that Italy and Austria may also be in the list.

Hungary?s natural gas imports from Russia via Ukraine dropped by around 20 percent on Wednesday as Gazprom reduced gas deliveries due to cold weather in Russia, the Hungarian Economy Ministry said.

Gazprom is the world?s largest gas company and supplies one quarter of Europe?s gas needs.
