At least 42 people died in an oil pipeline explosion in Nigeria on Wednesday.
The fire started after the pipeline was vandalised, the police said. People regularly take fuel from damaged pipelines for domestic use.
He said the fire broke out in a swamp area close to the village of Ikate in the creeks of Tarkwa Bay.
