An exploding tank at a gas processing plant in Mexico killed two workers on Monday, the latest in a string of accidents at state-run oil firm Pemex.
Pemex said in a statement the explosion at the plant in the southern state of Chiapas did not cause a fire and production was not interrupted.
Last year, around 20 Pemex workers died after a rig in the Gulf of Mexico was damaged and caught fire.
In September, a gas pipeline near Mexico City caught fire, sending flames more than 100 feet (30 meters) into the air.
