PDVSA To Control Colombian Oil Spill

Petroleos de Venezuela has mobilized 380 workers to control an oil spill from neighboring Colombia's Cano Limon pipeline.

The spill occurred after Colombian guerrillas bombed the 480-mile Cano Limon pipeline Saturday.

The spill of about 2,500 barrels of crude oil is threatening to pollute Lake Maracaibo.
Petroleos de Venezuela is working jointly with Colombia's Ecopetrol to clean up a spill in the Catatumbo and Tarra rivers.
