The oil tanker catastrophe 700 km east of Moscow at the Wolga will have big cost and environmental consequences.

Damage caused by the fire aboard the oil tanker is expected to amount to $5 million.

Today the fire is extinguished and the authorities are dealing with the environmental consequences. The tanker carried 2?000 tons of crude oil.
