Nizhnekamskshina Factory of the TATNEFT’s Company Petrochemical Complex has once again become the winner of the 12th All-Russian contest Leader of Environmental Activity in Russia 2016, the company reported on December 19, 2016.
The Leader of Environmental Activity in Russia is an annual environmental competition initiated by the International Forums World Experience and Russian Economy and Human health and the ecology.
The contest’s jury consists of representatives of federal ministries, specialized committees of the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, heads of public organizations, well-known scientists and rectors of the largest universities in the country.
The aim of the competition is to ensure the public encouragement of the the industrial enterprises for performance of the system work, contributing to the sustainable development of the Russian economy, improving public health and ensuring environmental safety.
Nizhnekamskshina, which is the largest Russian producer of passenger and light truck tires, pays much attention to environmental protection and health of the personnel and used to repeatedly become the winner of the contest Leader of Environmental Activity in Russia.
Environmental activities of the enterprise provides for a rational use of natural resources, raw materials, reducing the production and consumption wastes, as well as ensuring environmental safety in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation.
PJSC Nizhnekamskshina was the 1st among factories of the TATNEFT’s Tire Manufacturing Complex to certify the company’s environmental management system of its own in the international certification network.
The environmental management system the of the enterprise meets requirements of GOST R ISO 14001:2007 and the IQNet international certificate.
