The CEO Deputy of a major energy Russian-Vietnamese joint venture has been arrested and charged in corruption.
Duong Quoc Ha, deputy director of Vietsovpetro, a partnership between a Russian concern and oil and gas giant PetroVietnam. He is accused of having used fake contracts to build living quarters on an oil rig, operated by Vietsovpetro, worth $US17 million.
We remind that last week, one of five deputy general directors of PetroVietnam, Nguyen Quang Thuong, was also arrested for his alleged involvement in the affair.
