The judge of Meshchansky Court of Moscow has found the former head of Yukos oil company Mikhail Khodorkovsky, and the head of Menatep Group, Platon Lebedev, guilty of seven charges brought against them.
Prosecutors have asked for the maximum 10-year prison sentence.
Wednesday the court will pass a decision on other charges, such as theft of a 20-percent stake in the Apatit fertilizer plant.
Yukos lawyers insist that the charge must be dropped due to the expiration of the 10-year limitation statute.
