Russian authorities assigned a second presidential advisor Igor Shuvalov to a member of BOD at Gazprom gas giant in attempt to strengthen their hold of Russia?s energy sector, Interfax reported.
The other serving Kremlin aide is presidential chief of staff Dmitry Medvedev, who chairs the 11-member board of Gazprom.
?Gazprom is getting ready for a government coup d?etat,? said Vedomosti business daily.
On June 24 the company?s annual shareholders meeting is to be held where the new candidates will be elected.
