Crude oil futures rose slightly higher on Tuesday
Crude oil futures rose slightly higher on Tuesday as analysts expected the US inventories decline.
Light sweet crude oil futures for September delivery rose 20 cents to end at $59.20 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
In London the September Brent crude-oil futures contract added 17 cents to finish at $58.03 per barrel on the IPE
On Tuesday, a survey showed that US oil stockpiles probably fell 2.75 million barrels in the week ended July 22 from 320.1 million barrels the previous week. Refineries probably operated at94.55 percent of capacity, up 1.75 percentage points from the week before.
