Norilsk Rating Raised To BB+

Russian metals producing giant Norilsk Nickel?s press service announced that Standard & Poor?s Ratings Services improved Norilsk Nickel?s credit rating up to BB++ from BB. The forecast of the rating alteration is ?stable?.

The rating reflects the leading position of Norilsk in the world markets of nickel, palladium, platinum and copper, as well as the unique resources basis and stable financial situation in the company, Standard & Poor?s said in its report.
