Norwegian oil major Norsk Hydro said it is going to continue its work in Iran and invest in Iran?s energy sector. The company?s executive director Eivind Reiten announced it this week.
Norway holds 52 per cent of identified oil reserves of Europe. Comprising only one per cent of Europe's population, 4.5 million, Norway sits on 27 per cent of the continents gas fields and also produces 31 per cent of hydroelectric power of the sum.
Eivind Reiten pointed out, that it is one imperative task of the company to implement its experiences in Iran and future investment in aluminium industry is another indication of Norway's long-term outlook in Iran.
