The chief financial officer of Russian bankrupt oil company Yukos Bruce Misamore had resigned, Yukos board said in a statement.
The decision would become effective from the end of the year.
?Bruce has proved a valued friend and advisor,? Yukos CEO Steven Theede said in a statement, quoted by the Reuters agency.
?His energy, passion and his knowledge of sound financial management and reporting will be missed.?
Misamore joined Yukos in October 2003 on personal invitation from the company?s founder Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
?Misamore played a critical role in the development of YUKOS into an internationally respected, transparent corporation which, during his five-year tenure, met international standards of corporate governance and attracted some of the world?s leading investors,? the Russian oil company said.
