PetroChina Company Limited, the listed subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, announced on Monday a record oil and gas output of 267 million barrels of oil equivalent in the fist quarter of this year, up 6.27 percent year on year.
The crude oil output of the company reached 207 million barrels in the first three months of this year, or an increase of 100,000 barrels from the same period of 2005.
Output of marketable natural gas hit 360.2 billion cubic feet, a rise of 35.5 percent from the same period in 2005.
PetroChina processed 196 million barrels of crude oil in the first quarter of 2006, up 2.66 percent from a year ago.
The output of gasoline reached 5.684 million tons, diesel, 1.075 million tons, up 1.79 percent and 3.27 percent year on year, respectively.
