Oil futures fell on Thursday as markets looked past North Korea's missile tests, but rising gasoline demand as well as supply worries from the U.S. Gulf Coast and Nigeria kept prices near their new highs.
New York light, sweet crude for August delivery fell 30 cents to $74.89 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
London's August Brent crude exchange slid 30 cents to $73.68 a barrel on ICE Futures.
