India and Pakistan still differ with Iran over what price they should pay for gas that would be delivered via a proposed $7-billion pipe-line from the Islamic Republic, an Iranian gas official said yesterday.
Nosratollah Seifi, head of the National Iranian Gas Export Company (NIGEC), was speaking on state television during the latest round of talks in Tehran on the project, which has been held up partly because of the pricing disagreement.
The pipeline's tri-partite working committee began two-day meeting to iron out issues.
