Algeria's National Transport and Oil Research Company SONATRACH has signed an energy concession deal with Mali for oil exploitation in Mali's northern Taoudenit basin.
Under the agreement, SONATRACH has pledged to invest 5.75 billion CFA francs for the first four years on the project, covering research in geology, geophysics and drilling, and possible gas and mineral prospection.
